Pipe bend summarize
Metal bends are made of metal tubes, called bend. It’s used to change the flow direction and pipeline direction of the fluid in the pipeline. As an essential component in the fluid transportation pipeline, large diameter bend is widely used in oil and gas, power station, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, urban pipeline network, oil and gas field gathering and transportation, ship and other occasion of large pipe space and small pipeline density. Small diameter bend is widely used in pipe parts of hydraulic, fuel, cool air and other system. As a complete machine structural parts and system guide parts, most of them are curved parts with complex shapes and certain technical requirements.
Bending is the bending part of metal tube bending under external force. Its raw material is metal pipe. Bending deformation depends on special bending equipment. Sometimes it is complete with a special work outfit.
The structure of the pipe bend is shown in figure 1. Consists of straight pipe segments and curved segments at both ends. The basic parameters are shown in table 1.
