Storage conditions of seamless steel pipe

Select suitable place and warehouse.
1)The site or storehouse for the storage of steel should be kept in a clean and unobstructed place, away from the mines that produce harmful gas or dust. Remove weeds and all debris on the ground to keep the steel clean.
2)In the warehouse, it must not be piled up with acid, alkali, salt, cement and other materials that are corrosive to steel. Different types of steel should be stacked separately to prevent confusion and prevent contact corrosion.
3)Large section steel, rail, steel plate, large diameter steel pipe, forgings can be piled up in the open air.
4)Small and medium profile steel, steel wire rod, rebar, medium diameter steel pipe, steel wire and steel wire rope, can be stored in a well-ventilated material shed, but must be covered and matted.
5)Some small steel, thin steel plate, steel belt, silicon steel sheet, small diameter or thin wall steel tube, various cold rolling, cold drawn steel and high price, easy to corrode metal products, can deposit into the warehouse.
6)The storehouse should be chosen according to geographical condition, commonly use general closed storehouse, namely have the roof with wall, door and window is close, the storehouse that has ventilated device.
7)The storeroom requires sunny days ventilated, rainy days close and moistureproof, keep suitable storage environment.
